Alexandra Lebret received her master’s degree in Macroeconomics from Paris IX University before pursuing a degree in International Economics at ESSEC business school pursuing at Università di Bocconi, in Italy.
She chose to dedicate her career to the cinema industry.
Alexandra worked for the international development of UGC multiplexes, after which she co-founded the cultural weekly Zurban. In 2000, she co-founded the website Liberafilms.com, one of the first VOD platforms in France.
In 2002, she was appointed Managing Director of the European Producers Club (EPC) – an association of 120 film and TV producers from all over Europe.
In 2013, she was decorated Chevalier des Arts et des Lettres by the French Government for her work and dedication to European Cinema.
She is also the President of Halley Production and Mare Nostrum Productions, companies she both founded in 2014.
